Vagentine's Day Brunch 2025
Vagentine's Day Brunch 2025 was intimate and elegant. This year we gathered at the beautiful Grand Ambiance Event & Multipurpose Center. We started the event by eating brunch from The Flying Biscuit. After eating, we painted custom canvas tote bags that said "GIRL POWER." The custom tote bags were made by Kreeative Doses, of course.
Our guest speaker was Keisha Williams BSN, RN. She has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. We learned about different sexually transmitted infections (STI) that are prevalent in our community. Our guests were able to ask questions and were very engaged in the discussion.
The photo room was a hot commodity this year. Our guests enjoyed taking pictures. One of our guest won a free facial from our speakers from last year, Oak City Skin + Wax.
The Vag Bags this year were custom gift bags filled with custom lollipops, custom ink pens, custom hand sanitizers, custom notepads, and a Kreeative Doses sticker.
We loved being able to educated the community on STIs as they relate to vaginal health. We hope to see everyone again next year!
Vagentine's Day Vision Board Brunch 2024
Vagentine's Day Vision Board Brunch was such a fun event! We started the event by eating AMAZING catered brunch from Gina's Way. Everyone is still talking about how delicious the food was. After eating, we made self-care vision boards. We used old magazines, a self-care vision board book, and self-care stickers to make a board that embodied what self-care looks like for us.
Our guest speakers from Oak City Skin + Wax were Whitney Adams and Candace Peaks. We learned about the benefits of Brazilian waxes, the importance of exfoliating, and many other helpful vaginal hygiene tips. They had a table set up with some of their handmade sugar scrubs, exfoliating gloves, and gifts cards for guests to purchase.
Dr. Kim spoke about Monistat and AZO products. We were blessed with the opportunity to have AZO sponsor us this year. They provided AZO dual protection samples.
The Vag Bags this year were custom canvas bags that can be used to store vaginal products, such as pads, tampons, or pantyliners. The Vag Bags contained AZO dual protection samples and pads from HoneyPot.
We enjoyed all of our guest and we loved seeing new faces. We plan to make this an annual event and to continue educating our community about vaginal health!
Vagentine's Day Brunch 2022
Our first community event was a success! We ate Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp & Grits, fruit & veggies, and cupcakes for brunch. Afterwards, we painted custom canvases while sipping mimosas.
Our Vag Bags were filled with custom "Self Care Down There" buttons, vaginal exfoliating gloves from Brow Bar Raleigh, custom antibacterial hand sanitizers, Vagentine's Day treats, our business card, and a thank you card.
Our guest speaker, Dr. Latoya Patterson is an OB/GYN for Duke Women's Health. She prepared a presentation on vaginal health and then had a Q&A session after. Dr. Patterson was very informative and we are so grateful for her service.
The room was filled with peace, love, and good vibes. It was beautiful to see everyone learning in a fun and Kreeative way. We ended the event by voting for the best painting and taking a group picture. Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope to see you at the next community event!
